Lawn Bowls is a unique game played by all ages throughout the United Kingdom, and in many other countries across the World.
You can play at your chosen level, from friendly social to competitive.
If you have the ambition and the skill, you can aspire to represent your Club or County, and if you're really good, perhaps your Country at the European and World Championships and the Commonwealth Games.

Helper's Workshop - Wednesday 15 January 2020.
The club will be hosting an Open Day for potential new members sometime in March/ April, prior to the official club opening day on 18th April.
In order to make this a successful venture George Babalev, the BDA Development Officer, will be holding a Helpers Workshop at the club on Wednesday 15 January at 11.00a.m.

BOWLS ENGLAND - ENTRIES NOW ACCEPTED FOR 2020 NATIONAL COMPETITIONS
Entries are now being accepted for the Bowls England National Competitions in 2020.
Bowls England is delighted to announce the launch of a brand new online system for the management of national events that can be found at www.bowlsenglandcomps.com
All competitors are required to register at the top of the Competitions Portal to create an account.
Once registered, each competitor will then be able to select which events they wish to enter and proceed to the relevant payment pages, after agreeing to the respective eligibility criteria and Bowls England’s Terms and Conditions for entry.
Please note that a different email address must be used to register an account for each named entrant.
Entrants will receive an email confirming entry and payment into the respective events, and will be able to view all events entered within the ‘My Account’ area at the top of the page.
The e-mail will also be used to communicate draw information during the playing season.
The deadline for entries to be received is 1st February 2020.
